Learn to Skate
The Westchester Skating Academy offers Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey classes throughout the entire year. We follow the Learn to Skate USA program made by U.S. Figure Skating, which offers something for everyone, from the first steps on the ice to mastering advanced techniques. Our mission is to provide a FUN and positive experience that will instill a lifelong love of skating at The Westchester Skating Academy!

WSA Philosophy
Our goal is to be the best family entertainment center in the community.
To achieve this goal, we will provide our customers with the highest quality programs in a safe and friendly environment. By paying careful attention to every detail and offering the best in customer service, our staff will ensure the every participant will enjoy their W.S.A. experience.
Policies and Suggestions
- LEVEL EVALUATION: During the first two weeks of classes, our professional staff will evaluate skaters based on age and ability to ensure they are in the correct. Evaluations will also be done the last two weeks of classes so you know what level to sign your child up in the following session.
- HELMETS: Are optional but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for tots and beginners.
- SKATES: Should be comfortable but snug; skate should be slightly smaller than shoe size.
- CLOTHING: Warm, layered, comfortable clothing (sweaters & sweatshirts are preferable to bulky jackets) and gloves.
- REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be given.
